The steel warehouse has a structural system with typical frames, purlins, and bracing rods. It is designed and analyzed in an FEA application, then the data are imported to IDEA StatiCa Checkbot, where all steel connections are designed and checked in the Connection app. Exporting selected connection models into IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) format allows importing the connection designs into any CAD software.
Global structure prepared in SAP2000, joints in IDEA StatiCa Connection app, process managed through IDEA StatiCa Checkbot.
