Model of a selected reinforced concrete rib with part of a slab modeled for proper transfer of stresses. The rib is supported at both ends of the beam using point distributed support and loaded with vertical line load. Longitudinal bars and stirrups are used as a reinforcement of the beam. Such a structure is usually used in residential building designs. Modeled and analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Detail application. ย
