An important part of the whole project is a 1.2 km long overpass, which is realized by three separate bridges. The overpass goes over the floodplain of the MÅŸe river and crosses some country roads, two roadways and one access road. The part of the bridge that was designed in IDEA StatiCa is the three span bridge erected using the balanced cantilever method. The total length of this bridge is 188 m with a theoretical length of the main span of 85 m. The height of the superstructure is 2.1 m in the middle of the span and 5 m at the pier. The bridge is 7.5 m wide between the barriers and carries traffic in both directions. In the future, a parallel bridge and directional traffic distribution are planned.
