Founded as Aromin, Origines & Associates, Inc. in 1983, the company subcontracted projects in many parts of the world before being commisioned to design the countryโs tallest building, the Pacific Plaza Condominium, and Asiaโs largest shopping mall, the SM Megamall in 1987. Both constructions endured with their respective superlatives until the recent decade when engineering technology evolved to reach farther heights and taller structures. With the official change of name to SY^2 + Associates, Inc. in January 2010, the company promises that it will continue to deliver the same pioneering, innovative, cost-effective and world-class structural engineering design services to its clients and patrons.
